19th October 1895 Sarah Jane Woolaston (20) a servant employed by Mr. Wells, of Old Oscott House, Perry Barr, was admitted to the General Hospital on Friday, suffering from a serious injury to her foot. A loaded gun had been left on the table and it overbalanced and fell on to the floor. In falling it discharged its contents into the girls foot. | ||
